“These are the is the type of sceneries that can only be witnessed after landing on the islands. I personally know about these through film and TV. There was a female protagonist that grew up on one of the islands. She believed that life on the island was much more tedious than that in the city. When it came time for her to start her career, she decided to leave her hometown and explore distant cities. Makasutta, the nearest city around the islands, was certainly not on her wish list.”

Her words reminded me that our first stop was not any of these islands but a coastal city in the distance. Though we were moving closer to Makasutta, I still could not recognize anything special about it. It looked ordinary, clear, almost transparent.
